Every program starts with a commercial learner's permit (CLP) and the right endorsements. If you need help preparing for the knowledge tests, we'll guide you through it.

You need to be at least 18 to train with us and earn your CDL. Federal rules limit drivers under 21 to driving within Oregon until they turn 21.
Yes. All drivers must pass a DOT physical exam and a pre-employment drug screen and be physically qualified to drive.
You’ll need a DMV printout of your driving record for the past 5 years and a list of any violations you’ve been convicted of in the last 12 months. You also can’t be currently disqualified from driving a commercial vehicle. If you’re unsure about something on your record, give us a call and we’ll guide you through your options.
For Class A, you’ll need a Class A commercial learner’s permit (CLP) with air brake and combination endorsements. Other programs need different permits, listed above. Help is available if you need it.
