PASSENGER ENDORSEMENT

Drive Buses and Passenger Vehicles

A passenger (P) endorsement lets you drive vehicles designed to carry 16 or more people, including the driver. You'll need it for transit, shuttle and bus driving jobs with cities, counties and private companies.

Which License Do You Need?

It depends on the size of the vehicle you'll drive. Not sure which one you need? Give us a call and we'll guide you to the right license.

Class B + Passenger

For full-size buses with a gross vehicle weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more, like city transit buses, coach buses and larger shuttles.

Class C + Passenger

For smaller vehicles under 26,001 pounds that are designed to carry 16 or more people, including the driver, like shuttles, small buses and large passenger vans.
